A Note on the Dead Name
Court documents and some exhibits reference "Nick Apperson" or "Nicholas Apperson." This is Mouna's dead name. Mouna's name is Mouna, and their pronouns are they/them. Where direct quotes from legal documents use the dead name, the original language is preserved with a note.
